Domino Dollhouse Pop-up Shop!

9/30/2012

Yesterday fat girls and drag queens from all over Southern California (and me) gathered in the fashion district for Domino Dollhouse's pop-up shop! There was much sweat, cupcakes and semi-nudity as we tried on printed dresses, studded chambray mini-vests, and sheer skirts! I went home with a knee-length sheer mint skirt with built-in slip, a black high-low skirt, and a yellow plaid dress with a black peter pan collar and black buttons. Oh, and a beaded mini-fez from Sweet Leigh (www.sweetly.etsy.com).

This beaded mini-fez is the newest in my head wear collection. I was informed by a drag queen in attendance that it would go with literally anything. I agreed.

OMG it was so wonderful having you there. The lovely eyelash gal is our amazing make up artist Natasha! That drag was STILL talking about how amazing that fez was on you after you left, BTW =)

You have found really unique head wear. I will love with pink background and black lace.

WHY IS THERE NO COMMENTS SECTION?
I have permanently closed the comment section on my blog as of 8/20/15 so that I can better utilize the time I had previously dedicated to moderating comments. I encourage folks who have thoughts about my work to go out and have a conversation with someone about what you loved (or hated.. boo) about my writing over coffee.
