When Hot & Heavy: Fierce Fat Girls on Life, Love and Fashion was about to be released by Seal Press last November, my publicist at the time, Andie (who loves alliteration and earnestly preparing for the zombie apocalypse), recommended we brainstorm a campaign in anticipation of publication. At first I thought 30 days of fat-something... And Andie suggested 50. Since "fifty" and "fat" both start with "F." And so 50 Days of Fat Ferociousness was born.
